WHAT: Dr. Cressman[1] will be speaking on Unraveling Neuronal Networks. During his presentation, he will give a general overview of the methods used by neuroscientists to understand activity in the brain, and how methods and theories borrowed from soft condensed matter physics may help elucidate some of the more complex functions of neuronal networks[2].
