Abstract

Whether you are solid state physicists working with crystals, particle physicists trying to find the unknown laws of nature, or finding ways to build quantum computers, cold atom physics has something to offer to everyone. Neverending curiosity, enthusiasm, joy and excitement of working in cold atom physics can be summarized in a citation from Shakespeare's Hamlet: "There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamed of in your philosophy."
