Research:Robert Meier

Robert Meier carries out research on fundamental physical processes in space physics and aeronomy, primarily by using spectroscopic remote sensing the atmospheres of solar system bodies to understand their atmospheric composition, temperature, and dynamical motions. While he has particularly focused on the terrestrial upper atmosphere and ionosphere, his work has also encompassed the outer reaches of the heliosphere as well as the study of comets and planetary atmospheres.
