Interested in the Sun, Sun-Earth connection, planetary magnetospheres, or Earth’s upper atmosphere? The University of Colorado Boulder welcomes sophomore and junior undergraduate students to apply for a Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) in Solar and Space Physics (funded by NSF).  Students are placed with mentor scientists in Boulder area labs for eight weeks, beginning on June 9, 2013 and ending August 3, 2013.  Students receive $500/week, apartment-styled dorm housing, a travel stipend of $500, and an additional food allowance.

Application deadline is February 1, 2013.
